Well here I go, what can I say about this brilliant story and the journey of Rocky Balboa, I love it. The first of the Rockys, known as ‘Rocky’, is great, I love this and it’s a great start into his journey, I love his personality and the fact that all he ever wants to do against Apollo is go the distance, no more, no less and for this he succeeds and everyone who watches in see this as a Rocky win. The Corrie Tram Crash
I was happy when I learned this classic week of Coronation Street was to be released on DVD. Alas, it isn't without its failings. For whatever reason, all but 2 of the episodes (including the crash itself and, bizarrely, the live episode) have been given that rotten "filmic" treatment which turns the broadcast videotape clearness into an annoying blur in a sickly try to make it seem cinematic. Children’s TV–no real need to think outside of the box
A baby is like a “sponge” and learns from whatever it sees around it. As they grow, our children don’t only learn at school, they learn from what they see in shops, from relations and inevitably from TV. When seeking out a nursery what would you think if you saw a group of babies lined up in front of the TV with say “Thomas the Tank Engine” running?
Nurseries in Essex, Sussex, Norfolk and Dorset – or in fact ANY nursery in the country would not consider TV a way to educate or inform their babies and youngsters while in their care. It doesn’t mean though that TV is not an educational tool in the box. [Read More...]
